We have taken the opportunity when shut to do some of the things that have always needed improvement. Behind the scenes in the kitchen we have had a major reorganization including the installation of a super-duper dishwasher with sinks and counters as well as a new Bain Marie to ensure your meal is always hot. Your meals will be prepared on our new eight ring gas cooker and oven. That will not be seen by customers but will make life easier for all the staff, leading, we expect, to a better customer experience.
We have taken the opportunity to refurbish our enclosed rear garden so we will have a number of outdoor tables ideal for walking clubs or cyclists etc. when passing – as well as those choosing a leisurely lunch (served from midday) or our Early Bird and Evening Menus in the last of the summer sun. (Served from 4pm)
We have also given due thought and consideration to our customers who smoke with the construction of a dedicated smoking shelter, complete with heaters for the cooler evenings.
